Is xreal viable as a monitor replacement to work/code?

Hi there,
I’ve just created this account as the buzzword about xreal is increasing and I am considering to buy a model myself. However, in my case, I wouldn’t use it to play, but rather to work with a big screen in mobility.

Does it make sense with the current xreal generation? I’m asking this because I’ve tried the oculus quest 2 and it was a complete no-no for activities such as reading/writing text continuously, for 8 hours a day. In theory xreal should be better, but I couldn’t find any feedback about it.

Thank you!

Hey there!
I’ve been working on code with nreal air, without the front cover (so I can see the surroundings).
It’s definitely great. Sure, my mac’s screen is better, but not by much. The image in nreal is sharp, I have 3 screens, and it’s very comfortable to work with.
You will have a (very) short period of adjustment to keeping your head straight instead of looking down, but it will feel good once you get used to it.
I’ve worked 9 hours straight with it, btw.
