New Beam Pro - all streaming apps no video (DRM?)

I have an XREAL Air (first version), I’m using it since my Air 2 Pro is delayed in shipping. I did get the Beam Pro as well and that was delivered.

It’s all cool, except that no streaming apps display video (Hulu, Netflix, YT TV, Disney, etc.). The apps are saying the Air is not a supported display for HDCP, so having the Beam Pro with all the apps doesn’t really do much.

My question: is this fixed in the Air 2 Pro so the glasses can actually display the content from these apps on the Beam Pro (which is kind of the whole point of why I bought this). All the demos and videos seem to imply that’s the purpose of the Beam Pro and all the apps from the Play Store, but no streaming kind of defeats the whole purpose.

I really want to find out so I can cancel the Air 2 Pro if it’s not going to display any content and return the Beam Pro. I love the idea of this but if it doesn’t work, it’s just an expensive curiosity. I have the first gen Air and Beam, and it requires jumping through hoops to get content, but it’s a lot of wires, PC, glasses, Beam, battery pack–this would have solved that but at least it was serviceable. I don’t need a newer version of the same problems.
