New Nreal Air flickering and then just going blank - latest firmware installed:air_07.1.02.201_20230228

My NReal air after plugging it in works for a few seconds then flickers and then goes blank. This is both when connected to Sony Xperia 1 III phone or to PC

As I say its brand new and I am using supplied cable

Any advice?
