ok so luckily for me i attempted to get a second phone contract my credit rating isnt good and i was declined by my provider when i applied however i did try a company that claims to help those with a low credit score and wasnt expecting to pass the credit checks but i did so i now have a samsung s22 due to be delivered tommorow @Dorix sorry for my outburst of anger and for leaving a mess on the forum and bad mouthing the company i do like xreal and i do understand xreal is in its infancy but you really need to pick your game up and clean up all the mal and mis information in you material you need a coherent compatible device list and you absolutely need to give out some free glasses to the trying people developing the open source drivers for desktop operating systems as your current approach is absolutely dire and considering the lack of help i got in trying to determine a working mobile device to buy and testing 3 previously supported devices the oppo x5 pro running android 14 the samsung s21 and s21 fe as well both of which didnt work and which can niether be downgraded either so Xreal you really need to work on the information AVAILABLE on your SUPPORTED devices and i feel the pain of anyone buying into ultra granted they have beam pro and i might buy one if it supports light as a cheap was to get vr180 spatial video feature for my studio im taking @Dorix advice and have set up anew contract phone the samsung s22 that dorix claimed was supported by xreal light if this phone isnt supported i will make a video explaining the nightmare i have had trying to find a working phone trust me a consumer wouldnt go through all this and niether would an indie dev with money only reason im going through it is because my magic leap one dies in december making it a brick unless some clever hacker revives it (i live in hope) so again my apologies for my outbursts but i am furious because your lack of support and clear useful information cost me 300 quid cash and nearly bricked a phone id just paid 240 for and the extra 50 on top when i returned it and tried the release phone the oppo x5 pro thinking surely the launch phone would be consistently supported but nope the one thing im happy for is you didnt ditch the lights in favour of the ultra because i would have been devastated if i just bought the ultra and had to nearly brick a 250 bucks device trying to downgrade to get xreal light working you keep supporting the lights and making it easier to use them to develop for ultra and air and air 2 and ill stick with you but please please please dont break support for the s22 im willing thanks to the gods of those with bad credit to let by gones be 300 quids worth of unneeded phone and nintendo ds of bygones but you seriously need to get on helping developers and ill definetely be reluctant to buy anything new without standardisation and continued os supprt and if you are gonna have our money and leave us hanging in the dark then the least you could do is develop or help those developing an open source driver for windows linux and mac so as not to turn these things into e waste when the phones are no longer supported because of obsolecense please dont make the light and ultra a failure because of abismal support for devs you need us we just need the glasses remember this xreal without us devs you aint s**t but a good idea SUPPORT THE DEVS I HOPE THIS S22 WORKS CUZ IF NOT ITS ZAPBOX AND MAC MINI M1
