Western males(EU/UK/USA/CANADA) have an average IDP of 65.
Everybody in the south of the equator has a lower IDP arround 61 (Females are usually 2-3 below that)
And that’s what is worrying me with the new announced xreal one pro, they come in two sizes , one ending at 66 and the other starting at 66, which means everyone with IDP 65/66/67 will be on the edge spectrum (having a blurry vision)
I would like to ask th developers to make three variants instead of two, to avoid this:
You should have a S small (for woman&children) (IPD60) , M Medium (for average man)(IPD 65) , L Large for tall men (IPD 70)
That way you cover with:
IDP 60 : 55-65 (Small)
IDP 65 : 60-70 (Medium)
IDP 70 : 65-75 (Large)
This is really important because if people want to use the glasses to read text, the tiniest blurry makes it unreadable. Therefore the glasses should offer overlap in IDP’s and not have upper/under limits like we see with the proposed 66, in which case both glasses will not fit.
Can someone look into this problem please before you start shipping out?
